A Spanish speaking film called ta y en eo (meaning “that’s enough”) was made and released in cinemas in Spain and France in 1998. The film was directed by Jose Maria Machado. The plot of the film is simple, but it is about a father who has lost his job and decides to take his family on a vacation instead. On their way, they encounter an execution and are later told that their father was a political prisoner. The movie ended with the father having to sell his daughter into slavery for twenty years in order to pay off his debts.
